Freelance Mobile App Developer

 We are looking for an external developer (junior to mid-level programmer) to join our team and with whom to build a quality, long-term, preferably exclusive, relationship lasting many years. We think of our consultants as close members of our team, rather than external help.

Our company is based out of Burlingame, California, so all work will be done remotely at the location of your choosing and, once established, you will have the flexibility to set your own hours. Your availability for online meetings with me or other team members is expected. In-person meetings may be occasionally requried. Communicative English is a plus.

Our collaboration would start out as part-time assistance with developing mobile applications through the JourneyApps Oxide online environment, which uses XML, JavaScript, TypeScript, npm packages and is quite easy to learn. Proficiency in these languages is desired, though consideration will be given to anyone with strong logic and reasoning skills, whereas these two are a necessity for this work.

Ideally, the right developer would have some experience in many different programming languages with a varied skillset or the desire and ability to learn quickly on the job. Keen attention to detail, thorough testing, adapting to evolving project requirements, and the commitment to meeting deadlines are a must.

This partnership offers plenty of room to grow both in scope and time if our initial collaboration goes well. The speed and depth this collaboration grows depends on your progress, commitment, and  availability.
