Product Manager for Learning Taxonomy (m/f/d)

Your Skills
- Deep understanding of taxonomy and metadata management.
- Experience in the analysis and optimisation of existing taxonomies and metadata structures.
- Knowledge of developing and implementing scalable taxonomies that take into account future content and business requirements.
- Familiarity with taxonomy and metadata management tools, ideally experience with the Builder tool.
- Knowledge of workflow automation and integrations with back office systems.
- Ability to maintain functionality of existing tools while introducing incremental improvements.
- Experience in defining, prioritising and implementing project requirements.
- Ability to perform iterative refinement processes and respond to user feedback.
- Familiarity with strategic alignment and governance models

Your Tasks
- Analyze and Streamline Existing Structures: Conduct an as-is analysis of current taxonomies and metadata structures to identify inconsistencies and areas for improvement.
- Work closely with different teams to ensure the taxonomy meets diverse needs, resolves conflicts, and is widely adopted.
- Design the taxonomy to accommodate future growth, new content types, and evolving business requirements.
- Focus on simplifying workflows by reducing redundancies and ensuring the taxonomy integrates seamlessly with backoffice tools.
- Drive Iterative Refinement: Collect and incorporate feedback from users and stakeholders to continuously refine the taxonomy.
- Promote Governance and Consistency: Develop governance models and best practices for maintaining the taxonomy over time to avoid fragmentation.
- Align the taxonomy with broader initiatives such as the central catalog and modularization efforts to maximize business impact.
- Define and Prioritize Requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, refine, and prioritize business needs while ensuring alignment with the project’s strategic goals.
- Roll out the taxonomy and gather insights from its performance in a live environment.
- Help the operation with the new taxonomy, ensuring smooth onboarding and initial usage.
- Maintain and Evolve the Builder Tool: support with the Builder tool used to manage and enrich content on learning platform with metadata. Ensure that the tool aligns with the new taxonomy concepts, facilitating a seamless transition. This includes maintaining current functionality while gradually introducing enhancements to support the harmonized taxonomy and new processes.
