Network Engineer
The network engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing network solutions based on specific project requirements. This includes creating detailed network designs, configuring the necessary hardware and software, and ensuring the network infrastructure meets the needs of the project. In addition to project work, the engineer will manage and resolve issues from the regular incident queue, troubleshooting and providing timely resolutions. For a highly skilled engineer, there is the opportunity to contribute to automation efforts, such as developing new Ansible playbooks to streamline network management and improve operational efficiency.
Must have:
- Knowledge of traditional routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) and Layer 3 switching
- Expertise in VLAN configuration, inter-VLAN routing, and spanning tree protocol (STP)
- Familiarity with Cisco ACI, (or another SDDC technology) its design and principle of operation.
Nice to have:
- Proficient in automating network tasks using tools like Ansible or Python for traditional and ACI network management.
- Experience with APIs for automating configurations and monitoring in ACI and other interfaces.
- Familiarity with ITIL and ServiceNow would be a valuable addition as well.
Work Result: support of the routine tasks as per requirement description.
